I am a freelance photographer working and living in Georgia, USA. I am the official photographer for OPAS - Oconee Performing Arts Society, which allows me to go behind the scenes and cover their amazing events that are held throughout the year.
My articles and photography on wildlife travel have been published in the magazine 'Lakelife' and I also work for a gated community magazine 'Inside the Gates' doing their cover and featured articles.
I am the Dining Editor for Smith Communications, Eatonton, GA which involves me doing interviews and photography of area restaurants in the five counties including private club community dining. I also freelance for the newspapers 'Lake Oconee News' & 'The Eatonton Messenger'.
I won "Photo of the Year 2015" and recently got third in Feature Photography from the Georgia Press Associaton. I won my first International Award, receiving a Gold medal for my photograph "Toast Monkey" which can be seen on this website. My series of photographs from a lion kill in the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania was sold by a British publishing house and bought by 'The Daily Mail' as a full page cover article and feature in 2015.
I self published my first photographic book "Jaguars of the Pantanal" in 2014 and they are available for sale - if you would like a copy of this book, please contact me through this site. Upcoming books include Birds of the Pantanal, Butts of Africa and Children of Avenir Plus.
I also do event photography, sports, charity events, portraits and private functions.
My work is, as most photographers will tell you, a passion and I truly love what I do and hope that it is seen through my work.
I would love to hear from you, as your feedback and support is greatly appreciated.
